The DeWalt DCS525 18V Plunge Saw is the perfect solution for carpenters, joiners, fitters and other skilled trades who need a performance focused, reliable plunge saw on site or in the workshop.
Engineered for making smooth, accurate cuts, the DCS525 is guide rail compatible and has both a scribe cut stop and splinter guard for cleaner cuts and reduced splinters in even more difficult materials such as laminate.
With a new plunging mechanic, the plunge is straight down vs the DCS520 which has a forward motion plunge, giving the DCS525 a more conventional plunge feel. They've also completely overhauled how to change the blade for quicker, easier blade changing.
Equipped with a 18V XR brushless motor, this cordless plunge saw can be powered by both 54V FlexVolt and 18V DeWalt batteries with 2 x 5.0Ah Powerstack batteries included in this kit which offer increased power and lifespan compared to standard 18V batteries.
